Workers' Compensation

Protecting

Workers

All employees in Massachusetts are covered by workers' compensation insurance.

You can file a claim regardless of your immigration status!

How workers' compensation law works.

The intent of workers' compensation is to provide a means for injured workers and their families to collect weekly wage loss benefits for total, permanent and partial disability, medical costs, vocational re-training expenses, death benefits, funeral costs and other costs associated with being injured on the job.

The Department of Industrial Accidents strongly advises that workers seek legal counsel if claims are disputed due to the complexity of workers' compensation law. The insurance company is required by law to pay the attorney's fee if you win. If you need to file a new claim, have been denied benefits, or had your benefits terminated or reduced, we can help you.

Protecting Workers.

If you work in Massachusetts and have suffered a workplace injury or illness, you may be eligible for workers' compensation benefits. These injuries include death, bodily injuries, illnesses from exposure, or severe aggravation of a pre-existing condition occurring within the course and scope of employment. All employees in Massachusetts are covered by workers' compensation insurance. However, the insurance companies can take advantage of workers by denying valid claims or unfairly terminating or modifying benefits. Our office can help you fight back. We work with you to stand up to the insurance companies and represent your interests in court.
